Senior iOS Developer

ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Senior iOS Developer in our Chicago Office or remotely (from the USA)

About Client

We are working together with one of the biggest health insurance companies in the US with HQ in Chicago. The project portfolio contains various projects connected to mobile application development consuming existing APIs from partners, clients, etc. Mostly all of them are built using a microservices architecture. Some of the projects developed using the XP methodology with all necessary ceremonies as TDD, pair programming, a lot of communication, and frequent releases.

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile native apps in iOS (using Swift)
• Design architecture for new mobile features
• Extend the existing coding standards and style guides for our mobile applications
• Productize our mobile applications in terms of modularization and reusability
• Work together with external teams and review their work in regards of the above-mentioned
• Estimating tasks
• Communication with customer

Requirements

• 6+ years’ experience in native app development and mobile app architecture
• Strong working knowledge in software development (iOS)
• Being familiar with the use of libraries and frameworks
• Desire to work in a fast pace, fast-growing and highly innovative, and international environment
• Enjoy working in a highly collaborative team-oriented manner
• Obsession with quality
