About project:

One of the largest online supermarkets.

Responsibilities:

Advise and implement effective monitoring of common or shared services such as messaging queues, databases, and web servers
Build and maintain CI & CD flow
Develop deployment strategies for new services, breakdown monolith application into microservices
Work with development teams to ensure the integrity security and scalability of deployed solutions

Will be a plus:

Experience with Securing Production workloads (securing K8S, docker containers)
Experience with VAULT, encryption, SSL certs provisioning
Practical experience with KAFKA, Zookeeper
Practical experience with API testing
Experience with Code Analysis tools aka Sonarqube
Good understanding of Blue-Green deployments, zero-downtime deployments
Experience Backups and Disaster Recovery
Experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud

Requirements:

5+ years of professional commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer (at least 2+ years with Enterprise projects)
Extensive experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift); K8S CNI and networking
Strong experience with Jenkins pipelines, groovy scripts, shared libraries
Deep understanding of microservices architectural principles
Ability to coach and support team members with DevOps related tasks
Ability to produce well-written technical project documentation
Extensive experience with HELM charts
Deep understanding of source code flow (git-flow) in enterprise teams
Extensive experience with src control Systems (Git, Bitbucket)
Extensive experience with Linux (RHEL based, Debian, Alpine) /Windows Server Platform (powershell skills)
Extensive experience with VMware ESX, virtualisation
Strong experience with Ansible
Good knowledge of Redis, Mongo, SQL
Good knowledge of build tools (dotnet, maven, sbt, msbuild, gradle)
Deep understanding of artifactory, nfs fileshares
Deep understanding NGINX, HAPROXY
Strong experience with monitoring (Prometheus + Grafana + Influxdb + Alertmanager, ELK stack (elasticsearch + kibana), Nagios)
Strong experience with Logging (syslogs, greylog, elasticsearch).
