ELEKS is looking for a Workday BIRT Developer in Argentina.

ABOUT PROJECT

Our customer is a large enterprise organization that relies on Workday as a core system for reporting, analytics, and decision-making. ELEKS supports the client by building and maintaining high-quality Workday reporting solutions that enable business teams to access accurate data, visualize insights, and make informed decisions.

For this role, we are seeking a Workday BIRT Developer who will focus exclusively on designing, building, deploying, and optimizing custom reports and dashboards in Workday using the Workday Business Intelligence and Reporting Tool (BIRT).

A Workday BIRT Developer designs, builds, and deploys custom reports and dashboards within Workday, enabling organizations to visualize data and gain actionable insights. The role requires strong analytical thinking, deep understanding of data structures, and the ability to translate business requirements into clear, accurate, and user-friendly reports.

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience working with Workday Report Designer (BIRT)
Ability to interpret business needs and data structures for effective reporting
Working knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and related reporting technologies
Ability to diagnose issues, validate data, and ensure report correctness
Ability to work closely with business stakeholders to clarify reporting needs
Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
Good verbal and written communication skills
Upper-Intermediate English level or higher

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and build custom Workday reports and dashboards using BIRT
Use the Workday Report Designer (BIRT) to create business-form layouts, including customized headers, footers, formatting, and page breaks
Develop different types of reports, such as flat tables, explorers, map overlays, line graphs, and data tables
Analyze business requirements and underlying data structures to design effective reporting solutions
Deploy reports into the Workday environment, ensuring proper access, usability, and performance
Troubleshoot reporting issues and resolve data accuracy or formatting problems
Optimize existing reports to improve performance, efficiency, and user experience
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reports meet business expectations and provide actionable insights
