Experienced Test Automation Engineer (Java)

ELEKS Quality Assurance Office is looking for a Middle/Senior Test Automation Engineer (Java) in Mexico

The customer is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, cost-effective health care and equipping their members with information and tools so they can make the best health care decisions for themselves and their families. We are helping to achieve our customer’s goals via developing and supporting the IT tools. Numerous applications and APIs both for internal and external use.

Teams are using agile methodologies like scrum, kanban, XP. The majority follow TDD and pair programming. The typical team consists of 6-8 developers and a product manager who is responsible for the user stories and communication

We are looking for automation test engineers who will be working on the automation test cases for regression.
You will be performing script development, script execution, and script troubleshooting using a standard automation framework.

Technologies: java, selenium.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Overall experience in automation 4 + years
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in automating in Java
  • Knowledge of software testing techniques and methodologies
  • Good understanding of test automation goals, areas of applicability, activities, deliverables
  • Hands-on experience with standard automation frameworks like Keyword driven, Data-driven, modular or Hybrid
  • Experience with Selenium
  • Experience with Appium test automation for mobile applications.
  • At least an upper-intermediate level of English

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop Web site maps, application models, image templates, or page templates that meet project goals, user needs, or industry standards
  • Develop and document style guidelines for Web site content
  • Identify or maintain links to and from other Web sites and check links to ensure the proper functioning
  • Establish appropriate server directory trees
  • Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types
  • Recommend and implement performance improvements
  • Implement code refactoring and optimization methods. Post refactoring and optimization results in the collective knowledge base as the best practices
  • Work in pair with other developers, communicate with team members, share thoughts and knowledge
  • New functionality design. Estimating tasks
