Abdullah Al-Mishal is planning to roll out a retail POS system for the Middle Eastern region that is fully integrated with the back-office needs of small businesses.
About Project
Retail POS Terminal with custom Retail POS Android App MVP for B2C sales to end-customers at the retail stores, connected to Android device and peripheral devices.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 5+ years of Project management experience
- Strong experience in executing fixed price projects
- Practical experience in using of EVM model
- Proficient understanding of Agile frameworks, Waterfall
- Well familiarize with PMBOK guide
- Proven experience to manage distributed frontend, backend, QA, BA, DevOps distributed teams, established reliable collaboration and capacity management
- Strong understanding SDLC, especially CI/CD and release process
- People management, performance review, staffing
- Solid experience of using different planning\\tracking (Atlassian stack) tools
- Perfect understanding of IT system and project life-cycles
- Proven knowledge of project management principles
- Proven understanding of project financial aspects – profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and resources utilization

Main Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage project development from project initiation to closure within budget, schedule and resource limits
- Negotiate, define, communicate and manage the scope of the project
- Develop, maintain and effectively execute project plan throughout the project life. Ensure timely revision of project plan to meet changing needs and requirements
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones, review deliverables and milestones prepared by team
- Forecast, track and manage project budgets, ensure timely invoicing
- Define, communicate, implement and monitor quality standards on all project deliverables
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project
- Plan and manage internal and external project communications, ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverables
- Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks
- Serve as liaison between company and client for overall project and support activities. Develop lasting relationships with client’s representatives that foster trust and goodwill
- Identify project resources necessary and partner with other company managers to acquire resources
- Act as a mentor to Project Coordinators and other team members; inspire collaboration and teamwork
- Assists in the ongoing development of the Project Management Office. Recommend improvements to project management policies/procedures where needed
- Assist the PMO with performing project team assessments and evaluations
