Senior ABAP Developer

ELEKS Enterprise Applications Practice is looking for a Senior ABAP Developer to join our team in Germany.

ABOUT CLIENT
Our client is a leading German manufacturer in the automotive sector.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years’ experience in SAP ABAP Development
• Knowledge in ABAP RICEFW-Forms (SAP Scripts/Smart Forms/Adobe Forms), Reports (ALV/Classical), Interfaces (ALE/IDOC, BAPI), Conversions (LSMW/BDC), Enhancements (User Exits, Dynpro, BADI), Object Oriented ABAP
• Fiori and Process Orchestration (PI/PO)
• Hands-on experience in using SAP Process Orchestration (PI/PO) to design and build Application to Application (A2A), and B2B integrations
• EDI experience
• Experienced in creating Technical Design Documents and Unit Test Documents
• Advanced level of English
• Advanced level of German

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new application software and/or interfaces between applications
• Create and maintain system documentation according to the selected methodology (proposals, designs, test specifications, and other deliverables as necessary)
• Accountable for technical issue resolution including diagnosis of problem, recommendations for workarounds, and defect correction
• Research and apply new technologies, development techniques and best practices by leveraging experience, industry contacts, seminars, and books
• Leverage software version control tools and provide software configuration management support
• Works closely with the project team (internal and external) to assure a timely solution
• Assist SAP Project Manager and SAP Architect users with day-to-day questions, problems, and issues.
• Adhere to project plans, tasks, and deliverables; identify dependencies and resource requirements
• Appropriately communicates project status, escalates issues, and manages timelines and action items
• Collaborate with internal development team to deliver business value
