ELEKS Quality Assurance Office is looking for a Middle Test Automation Engineer (Las Vegas, NV)
Ensure project quality objectives, including software and documentation, meet stated requirements. Handle project requirements and test analysis, test case definition, and the execution and update for automation purposes. Contribute to test plan development, report deviations and anomalies using appropriate tools, develop automation scripts, set up automation environments, provide professional feedback on overall product quality, and follow defined processes. Review, analyze, and assess project requirements, specifications, and product functionality to convert them into quality control process artifacts. Prepare and acquire test data. Develop, execute, refactor, and optimize automation scripts. Log and evaluate results and document deviations from expected results. Use automation scripts administration, monitoring, and management tools. Establish automation test environments. Review test artifacts. Contribute to automation process control definition and improvement. Develop new automation tools and approaches for investigation and implementation. Create test documentation. Work with Java; implementing automation scripts for web, mobile, API applications; creating test documentation and conducting tests; MS SQL Server; Postman; Cucumber; WebDriverIO; RestAssured; Jenkins; Maven; TestRail; implementing cross-environment and parallel automation testing frameworks; creating new tests and supporting existing framework; performing automation for mobile-, web-, and services-based applications; writing behavior-driven development (BDD) scenarios; conducting demo sessions for customers; implementing user manuals, documentation, training instructions, and operational procedures; reviewing, analyzing, and estimating project requirements and specifications; converting requirements into quality control process artifacts; and, establishing and running test automation tests in parallel.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study, plus four (4) years of experience with Java; implementing automation scripts for web, mobile, API applications; creating test documentation and conducting tests; MS SQL Server; Postman; Cucumber; WebDriverIO; RestAssured; Jenkins; Maven; TestRail; implementing cross-environment and parallel automation testing frameworks; creating new tests and supporting existing framework; performing automation for mobile-, web-, and services-based applications; writing behavior-driven development (BDD) scenarios; conducting demo sessions for customers; implementing user manuals, documentation, training instructions, and operational procedures; reviewing, analyzing, and estimating project requirements and specifications; converting requirements into quality control process artifacts; and, establishing and running test automation tests in parallel. Telecommuting is permitted.
