Middle Strong Project Manager (law industry)

ELEKS Project Management Office is looking for a Middle Strong Project Manager (law industry) in Poland and Croatia.

The company offers banking and finance, competition, corporate, dispute resolution, employment, intellectual property, real estate, reorganization, international trade, and tax legal services. It serves corporations, financial institutions, regulators, and government bodies across a wide range of industry sectors.

ABOUT PROJECT

The PM will manage a small portfolio of approximately 4–5 projects each. The projects range in scope. The client does have a portfolio of work to enable solutions within the E5 suite of tools; some are within the identify and messaging spaces, and there are a few others related to solution implementation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3,5-4 years of experience in project management
  • Proficiency in English is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Formal accreditations are an asset
  • Strong experience in executing fixed-price projects
  • Practical experience in using the EVM model
  • Proficient understanding of Agile frameworks, Waterfall
  • Familiar with the PMBOK guide
  • Proven experience managing distributed frontend, backend, QA, BA, and DevOps teams, established reliable collaboration and capacity management
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, especially CI/CD and release processes
  • Solid experience using different planning and tracking (Atlassian stack) tools
  • Perfect understanding of IT systems and project life-cycles
  • Proven knowledge of project management principles
  • Proven understanding of project financial aspects: profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and resource utilization

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop full-scale project plans and track project tasks/milestones using appropriate tools
  • Effectively analyze and report on project status
  • Monitor project budgets (where applicable), ensuring efficient use of the investment
  • Confidently remediate at risk or underperforming projects in collaboration with project teams
  • Define project success criteria and communicate success criteria throughout the project life cycle
  • Conduct lessons learned and produce recommendations for future projects
  • Set and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve conflicts within a project team
  • Motivate project resources and empower them to take accountability for their assigned tasks
