ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Senior .NET (WPF) Developer in Poland or Croatia.

ABOUT PROJECT

Our client is one of the largest insurance brokers in the world, working in the Insurance business domain and providing risk management, insurance, and reinsurance brokerage, and investment banking solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of hands-on experience with WPF development
5+ years of professional experience with C# and .NET Framework
Strong ability to develop new features and maintain existing WPF UI
Experience fixing, extending, and creating custom WPF UI controls
Solid understanding of multithreaded programmingʼ
Proficiency with Visual Studio
Experience using Git for version control
Experience working with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools
Upper-Intermediate or higher English (written and spoken)
Strong ability to understand, debug, and modify existing codebases
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and maintain reliable software in line with technical requirements
Analyze requirements, and independently estimate and set up tasks’ acceptance criteria
Evaluate and coordinate tasks’ deadlines with the Technical Leader or Project Manager
Apply the best software development practices and coding standards to produce high-quality and performant solutions
Stay up-to-date with modern technology and optionally obtain professional certifications
Participate as a trainer or a trainee in various learning programs outside the main project
