ELEKS Quality Assurance Office is looking for a Test Manager in Argentina

Teams use agile methodologies like scrum, kanban, and XP. The majority follow TDD and pair programming. The typical team consists of 6-8 developers and a product manager who is responsible for user stories and communication.
We are looking for an experienced test manager with 5–7 years in software testing and at least 3 years in a leadership role. The ideal candidate has a strong background in test strategy, functional and regression testing, and coordinating efforts across complex, multi-product environments.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5-7 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing test strategies across complex and multi-product environments.
- Hands-on experience in leading functional and regression testing efforts, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Experience with defect management, including tracking, resolution coordination, and reporting. Demonstrated ability to perform impact analysis and estimation for new testing demands.
- Proven experience in coordinating testing efforts with cross-functional teams and managing project dependencies.
- Knowledge of fundamentals of QA methodology
- Knowledge and understanding of automation patterns like – Page Object, Page Factory, and related
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automated testing tools
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA).
- Knowledge of functional and performance testing techniques.
- Understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Strong skills in SQL and database validation for data-driven testing.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior testers and test engineers.
OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, Certified Test Automation Engineer, or equivalent.
- Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and leading testing efforts within Agile frameworks.
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Junit ).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes).
- Experience with performance monitoring tools (Grafana).
- Expertise in DevOps practices and experience integrating testing with CI/CD workflows.
- Demonstrated experience with service virtualization and mocking frameworks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and maintain project automation test strategy
- Maintain automation development and test processes, coordinate activities with PM
- Define testing automation scope, plan and schedule automation work, measure effectiveness of implemented solutions
- Plan automation quality control activities by analysing project needs which includes understanding testing objectives and risks, selecting automation testing approaches, providing estimates of automation testing efforts and cost, defining automation test types and levels, and planning incident management
- Initiate specification, preparation, implementation, and execution of automation tests, review execution results, and plan corrective actions
- Adapt automation process planning based on automation quality control process outputs and actual progress, and take any actions necessary to compensate for problems that may arise
- Setup an adequate testware configuration management to maintain traceability
- Introduce metrics for measuring project automation progress and evaluating automation testing and software quality
- Establish environments for automation testing
- Create quality control summary reports and perform regular status reporting
