Senior Software Developer

ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Senior Software Developer in the USA.

ABOUT CLIENT

Our client is one of the top health insurance companies in the US. We support the client’s goals by developing and maintaining numerous internal and external IT tools, including applications and APIs.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of working experience in software development
• Hands-on experience with ForgeRock configuration, especially with managing and updating routing endpoints
• Experience with cloud platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and Red Hat OpenShift
• Good understanding of containerized applications and orchestration in Microsoft Azure environment
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in multi-environment infrastructures (dev, test, prod)
• Experience with managing complex environments (e.g., 80+ applications, multi-route architecture)
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools is a plus
• Upper-Intermediate English level

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable software in line with technical requirements, focusing on performance and availability
• Analyze requirements, review designs, and estimate user stories following project methodology (Agile, Waterfall, etc)
• Proactively propose code refactoring and optimization improvements according to the best software development practices and coding standards
• Help maintain and improve high-quality standards within the developer community by sharing knowledge, conducting tech talks, and participating in the internal promotion verification process
• Stay up-to-date with modern technology and obtain professional certifications
• Support less experienced developers by providing training, distributing, and monitoring tasks
