ELEKS Quality Assurance Office is looking for a Middle Test Automation Engineer in Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk or Kyiv.

ABOUT PROJECT

Our client is a US-based software company that operates in the finance sector. The client works with major international banks, accounting firms, and other organizations that utilize various web and desktop applications to digitalize and optimize their working processes.
The product itself is a banking web application designed to assist clerks in creating and submitting client invoices and planning their budgets based on gathered data.

REQUIREMENTS

3 years of experience in automated testing utilizing JavaScript/TypeScript and Java
Knowledge of modern automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, WebdriverIO
Skills in web technologies with a strong capability for API testing with TestNg / Junit
Familiarity with CI/CD tools
Previous experience with VSC – Git and flows
Ability to analyze automation test results, investigate failures, and help improve test stability
Experience in manual testing of the products
Demonstrated problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
Ability to collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product managers to clarify requirements and testing needs
Upper-Intermediate level of English

RESPONSIBILITIES

Review, analyse and assess project requirements and specifications as well as product functionality to convert them into quality control process artefacts
Prepare manual test cases for automation
Prepare and acquire test data
Develop, execute, refactor and optimize automation scripts
Log and evaluate results and document deviations from the expected results
Use automation scripts administration, monitoring, and management tools
Participate in automation test environment setup
Review test artefacts developed by others
Contribute to test documentation creation
