ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Middle/Senior MuleSoft Developer in Buenos Aires

Our customer is among the top 5 health insurance companies in the US. The company serves more than 15 million members across five states and employs more than 20,000 people.

The customer is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, cost-effective health care and equipping their members with information and tools so they can make the best health care decisions for themselves and their families. We are helping to achieve our customer’s goals by developing and supporting IT tools. Numerous applications and APIs are both for internal and external use.

Teams are using agile methodologies like scrum, kanban, XP. The majority follow TDD and pair programming. The typical team consists of 6-8 developers and a product manager who is responsible for the user stories and communication.

We are looking for experienced software engineers to work with the back end (java), front end (react), and mobile teams.

The exact responsibilities also vary depending on the project. Most of the time, you will be working on implementing new functionality or different integrations and\or deployments.

Technologies vary slightly depending on the team.

We are looking for a mid-to-senior MuleSoft developer to support our client in delivering secure, high-quality technology solutions for the client’s enterprise systems, which include Java-based microservices, API integrations, and cloud platforms.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-7 years of experience in integration development with strong MuleSoft expertise.
  • Proficiency with Mule 4 runtime DataWeave, API Manager, and Anypoint Platform components.
  • Solid understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps) and basic knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid deployment models.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and messaging systems (e.g., JMS, Kafka).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
  • Preferred Certifications: MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule 4)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and implement API-led integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and related tools.
  • Work with architects and business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
  • Build and maintain DataWeave transformations and reusable MuleSoft components.
  • Support API lifecycle management, including deployment, monitoring, and versioning.
  • Perform code reviews and guide junior MuleSoft developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across development and test environments.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to security, scalability, and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate MuleSoft solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
