ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Middle Python Developer to join our team in Croatia or Poland.

The client, founded in 2022 and headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, operates in the Media and Information Services industry. Project focuses on developing a robust, modular service core that supports the company’s analytical methods.

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of hands-on Python development experience
Strong understanding of polymorphism and design patterns (e.g., facade, adapter)
Ability to write integration and regression tests to ensure code quality
Upper-Intermediate level of English
Great communication skills
Ability to work independently and proactively

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with data analysis or data science
Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop a modular library for econometric models and calculations
Design, develop, and maintain reliable software in line with technical requirements, focusing on performance and availability
Write integration and regression tests to ensure accuracy and reliability
Maintain and evolve the library to meet project requirements
Collaborate with data scientists to enhance the library’s functionality
Support the development of an internal user interface tool that uses the library
