ELEKS Business Analysis Office is looking for a Markit EDM Business Analyst (remote across Europe).

ABOUT PROJECT

Our client is a leading provider of research, consulting, and technology solutions for the asset management and wealth management industries. They specialize in helping financial organizations optimize operations, implement technology, and drive strategic growth.

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
2–3+ years of experience with Markit EDM (Enterprise Data Management)
Deep familiarity with Markit EDM workflows, data mapping, and rule configuration
Expertise in reference data management and data integration
Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyze large datasets
Skilled in process mapping and strong stakeholder communication
Comfortable creating BRDs, FRDs, and supporting UAT
Upper-Intermediate level of English
Ability to liaise effectively between business and technical teams
Experience with instrument data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, ICE)
Understanding of target operating models in data governance or master data programs
Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Define business needs and business change drivers
Manage customer expectations and translate needs into effective solutions
Elicit requirements using different BA techniques (interviews, focus groups, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis, etc.)
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from underlying needs
Document, analyze, and prioritize detailed business requirements based on users and business needs
Proactively identify improvements that would increase efficiency or productivity in work effort, processes, or application features
Establish and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
Plan and Coordinate BA team at the project
Conduct BA team coaching and mentoring (subordinate RAs and BAs, QAs, etc.)
Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis practices, as well as other procedures
Develop requirements and other project documentation templates
Conduct requirements audit
