Senior/Middle DB Developer

ELEKS Software Engineering & Development Office is looking for a Senior/Middle DB Developer in Ukraine, Poland, Croatia.

ABOUT PROJECT

Our client is a New York-based firm specializing in investment technology solutions for financial institutions. This company focuses on data strategy, governance, AI-driven solutions, and financial technology consulting.
We’re starting a new sub-project focused on migrating and implementing newly developed software.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Developer with a focus on SQL development
• Advanced SQL skills, including knowledge of indexing, query optimization, CTEs, stored procedures, and working with large datasets
• Experience with C# and .NET frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments, especially Azure
• Experience in designing and implementing backend systems would be a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement complex SQL queries and data models to support business processes
• Expertly use and optimize indexes, slow-moving dimensions, stored procedures, common table expressions (CTEs), and temporal tables for performance
• Build and maintain views, extracts, and transformation logic (ETL) to ensure data integrity and efficient processing
• Optimize query performance and work closely with data engineers to improve database scalability and efficiency
