ELEKS is looking for a SAP Competence Manager in Croatia, Poland

ABOUT PROJECT

Ensure SAP professionals possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and capabilities to deliver high-quality solutions. The primary focus is on developing and maintaining competency frameworks, training programs, and best practices for enterprise platform implementation and integration. This role fosters continuous learning and innovation while supporting presales and delivery excellence.

REQUIREMENTS

10 + years of experience in SAP solution implementation
5+ years of experience in enterprise SAP solution architecture
Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA migrations and SAP BTP integration
Wide knowledge of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP) and the broader SAP solution portfolio
Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, Focused Build, and ALM tools
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, databases, and potentially programming languages like ABAP, Java, or SQL is beneficial
SAP S/4HANA Architecture & Deployment: Deep understanding of on-premise and cloud editions, including migration strategies
Enterprise ALM & DevOps for SAP: Expertise in SAP Solution Manager, Focused Build, and integration with CI/CD pipelines
Integration Frameworks: Advanced knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, BTP (Business Technology Platform), and third-party API integration
SAP Modules: Wide knowledge of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP) and the broader SAP solution portfolio
Security & Compliance: Familiarity with GDPR, and SAP GRC for governance and risk management
Custom Development: Proficiency in ABAP, CDS Views, SAP Fiori/UI5, and extensibility options in S/4HANA
Data Modeling & Analytics: Advanced skills in SAP BW/4HANA, Embedded Analytics, and integration with SAP Analytics Cloud
Integration with Enterprise Ecosystem: Knowledge of connecting SAP with Microsoft 365, Azure, and other ERP/CRM systems
Application Lifecycle Management (ALM): Expertise in transport management, version control (Git), and automated deployments
Performance Optimization: Understanding of workload balancing, system tuning, and high-availability setups
Security Roles & Authorization Concepts: Deep knowledge of SAP roles, profiles, and segregation of duties
Language Skills: Upper-intermediate or advanced English for global communication and documentation

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Thinking & Enterprise Architecture: Ability to define SAP roadmap aligned with business objectives and conceptualize winning solutions for clients
Executive-Level Communication: Skilled in influencing senior stakeholders and presenting complex solutions clearly
Leadership in Change Management: Driving SAP adoption and transformation initiatives across global teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work with BA, QA, DevOps, and Data teams for integrated delivery
Analytical & Problem-Solving: Expertise in resolving complex SAP issues and optimizing processes
Governance & Standards Enforcement: Define and maintain SAP development and integration standards
Mentoring & Coaching: Enable technical growth and competency development within the SAP practice
Documentation & Evangelism: Proficient in creating technical documentation, roadmaps, and promoting SAP best practices.
