ELEKS is looking for a Sales Manager experienced in promotion of  Information Security and Compliance services to join our ELEKS Japan JV team in Tokyo.

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for improving the ELEKS brand recognition on Japanese market, establishing the new connections and growing the client base. We are looking for a self-motivated expert in communications, sales and marketing. The person should have reliable connections with potential clients and be capable of expanding the client network quickly. The key ability would be to match the client needs with the ELEKS security/compliance services to maximize the value delivered to clients.
You will cooperate closely with the EU Security Services department and working in a dynamic, supportive, friendly environment where your capabilities and input really matter.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales of information security related services
  • Experience managing bids for complex projects or large-scale contracts
  • Knowledge of Japanese market for security services
  • Understanding of information security fundamentals, technologies and terminology
  • Understanding of security frameworks/standards (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST)
  • Understanding the information security and data privacy regulations (P-mark)
  • Knowledge of information security testing services and their scope of applicability
  • Participation in Japanese IT/Security events would be a plus
  • Proficiency level in English (writing/speaking)
  • Proficiency level in Japanese (writing/speaking)

EDUCATION

  • University degree in Marketing or Business (or similar relevant area)
  • Information security courses/certifications are desirable (ISO27001 Lead Implementer, CISM)

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Introduce ELEKS to new potential clients, who are interested in compliance / information security consulting and cyber security services (audit, penetration testing, writing the policies)
  • Generating new leads for the ELEKS security services
  • Preparing the marketing materials for the client meetings and leading / coordinating the pre-sale activities
  • Ability to capture the client needs during the initial meetings, match them with ELEKS security services and keep the client involved throughout the sales process
  • Support the presentation and up sales of ELEKS security services during the pre-sales of relevant  services, such as application development
  • Assist Cyber Security Services department in validation of Japanese versions of marketing materials and deliverables
  • Providing the feedback for security services with the aim to customize them for Japanese market and expectations of local clients
  • Actively participate in development and execution of ELEKS marketing campaigns
  • Support the selection, planning, organization and participation in sales events organized by ELEKS or 3rd parties (workshops, exhibitions, meet-ups)
  • Present and demo ELEKS and Partner’s information security products, such as:
  • eCAP (ELEKS Compliance Automation Platform), Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool
  • RiskRecon by MasterCard, 3rd party risk evaluation tool
  • Conduct workshops and trainings for clients covering eCAP functionality
  • Assist with implementation activities for eCAP roll-out on commercial projects for Japanese clients
  • Assist PM’s in managing the communication and approval of project artifacts with the clients
  • Mobilize the presales team, finding the optimal approach to the potential project proposition, consulting, discovery, formal proposal, etc., and the business model, which includes fixed price, dedicated team, T&M, etc
  • Be able to address any RFI/RFP questions the client shares within the vendor selection process. Be aware of ELEKS’ financial information, legal entities, and information that can or cannot be disclosed to the client
  • Lead the presales team and prepare/facilitate the preparation of high-quality proposals based on client needs/company capabilities, providing a response to RFP addressing vendor selection criteria set by the client
