Middle DevOps Engineer

ELEKS DevOps Office is looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer in Poland, Croatia or Eastern Europe.

ABOUT CLIENT
Our client is leading security providers in Switzerland that provide a full range of security services.

ABOUT PROJECT:
Platform that responsible for Security Incident Detection and Response. The system analyzes security logs, configures alerts, and helps to generate reports for the customers.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience as DevOps Engineer
• Scripting ability with tools like Bash and Python.
• Linux OS administration.
• Proficiency in GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (with Rancher).
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters on-premises.
• Experience using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Mimir.
• Experience with Helm and Helm chart.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken

NICE TO HAVE

• Database Management (knowledge of managing and optimizing databases MariaDB and PostgreSQL)
• Experience with tools like nginx, Artifactory, and HashiCorp Vault
• Experience with virtualization tools like VMware

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Propose and implement DevOps solutions from scratch
• Setup and configure environments from scratch
• Provide CI/CM systems integration and configuration
• Propose and implement deployment solutions
• Help team with configuration and administration tasks
• Develop and implement document setup and configuration instructions, troubleshooting tips
• Conducting assessment and justification of the recommended solutions
• Communicate and approve technical requirements with stakeholders
• Evaluate and justify terms of task completion. Assign tasks to developers, and monitor task implementation.
• Provide training(s) on the project
• Have valid competence-related certifications
