Middle Android Developer

ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is seeking a Middle Android Developer in Ukraine.

ABOUT PROJECT 

The project is a set of software applications, infrastructure, and hardware resale in the domain of Convenience Store Supply and Logistics/Products Wholesale.
Our products simplify the workflows of the distribution business and give business flexibility and mobility.
Android solutions are designed for ordering a variety of products and help drivers deliver the products.
The client’s business operates in the United States and Canada.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience in developing Android Apps
• Knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK
• Knowledge of Jetpack Compose (would be beneficial
• Knowledge of SQL, and SQLite databases
• Experience in using GIT version control system
• Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles and software design
• Awareness of the Android UI/UX guidelines
• Development using best practices: Code review, clean code, CI/CD, Quality by design, and consistent work with Unit testing
• Ability to manage requirements and take responsibility for working processes on a stream
• Upper-intermediate level of English
• Good communication skills, including facilitation of customer requests

RESPONSIBILITIES

• A candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting existing Android applications. Applications implemented using Java and Kotlin languages
