Junior/Middle Data Engineer

ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Junior/Middle Data Engineer in Poland, Croatia, Europe.

ABOUT PROJECT

Our customer is a Swiss company in commodity trading. We are helping out the customer with various applications that support their business (chain management, risk management solutions).

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Experience in cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Logic Apps, Python, PySpark, Azure Data Factory
• Knowledge of Power BI (nice to have)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric (nice to have)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Investigate and analyze data-related queries from business users, providing clear and effective solutions
• Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of daily jobs and continuous data streaming processes
• Implement hotfixes and develop new features for existing integrations to maintain system performance
• Apply best practices in building and optimizing data pipelines to ensure efficiency and scalability
• Grant access to Microsoft Fabric for business users, ensuring proper permissions and security
• Provide consultation and support to users on SQL code, offering guidance for efficient query development
