ELEKS Human Capital Administration is looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist based in Lviv (preferred), or in Western or Central Ukraine (remote options available).
The Compensation & Benefits Specialist is responsible for supporting compensation and benefits administration with a primary focus on payroll data preparation, validation, and timely submission. The role ensures accurate maintenance of compensation and benefits data in HR systems, supports payroll closure and accrual processes, and contributes to data reconciliation, reporting, and audit activities related to payroll, compensation, and benefits across the geographies the Company operates.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of experience in payroll administration and compliance, compensation and benefits administration, preferably in the IT services sector
- In-depth knowledge of the payroll process and calculation, compensation practices, benefits administration, and relevant labor laws. Knowledge of Ukrainian Labor Legislation
- Strong proficiency in HRIS and compensation management software (ADP, experience with Workday is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred
- Upper-intermediate level of English
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment and to prioritize effectively in conflict situations
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, consolidate, and validate compensation- and benefits-related data for payroll/remuneration processing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with payroll requirements and deadlines
- Support payroll closure by performing data checks, reconciliations, and validations, ensuring all compensation and benefits inputs are correctly reflected in payroll results
- Support accrual processes by validating payroll-related accrual data, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating corrections with relevant stakeholders
- Maintain accurate data in HR systems and prepare reports, reconciliations, and data extracts for operational tracking, analysis, and decision-making
- Act as a point of contact for payroll-related compensation and benefits topics, support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations, and resolve data-related issues in collaboration with HR, Legal and Finance teams
