Senior Power BI Engineer

ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Senior Power BI Engineer in Poland and Croatia.

Our customer is a global company, one of the largest law firms in the world, providing a full range of legal services. The company provides legal services to international and Ukrainian companies, banks and other financial institutions, private equity funds, startups, state enterprises, private individuals and non-profit organizations. International experience, deep knowledge of legislation, and an individual approach to the client allow the company to offer clients innovative and effective legal solutions of the highest quality.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of experience with Power BI and Analysis Services
• Proficiency in Data Integration
• Expertise in Microsoft Fabric would be a plus
• Strong skills in Report Development & Performance Tuning
• Upper-intermediate level of English
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
• Team player, technology passionate and self-motivated individual

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Migrate the global tabular model from Analysis Services to Fabric
• Connect standard key reports to the tabular model in Fabric
• Conduct performance testing on reports
• Test security models related to the tabular model
• Evaluate the development capabilities of the moved tabular model
• Test the refresh speed and reliability of the tabular model
• Connect and test interconnectivity between the tabular model and an additional data source in Fabric
• Document the solution, processes, and outcomes for future reference
