ELEKS Project Management Office is looking for a Senior Project Manager in Poland, Croatia or Ukraine (Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Kyiv).

ABOUT PROJECT

Our client is one of the leading British renewable energy companies specializing in zero-carbon power generation. They own and operate several power plants, focusing on sustainable biomass production, renewable electricity generation, and distribution to businesses. The company manages a diverse portfolio of renewable energy assets, including biomass, hydroelectric, and pumped hydro storage facilities across the UK.

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience in IT project management, including delivery of complex projects in enterprise environments
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing project plans, risks, dependencies, and changing priorities
Hands-on experience working with Scrum teams
Strong stakeholder management skills, including direct communication with enterprise clients at different levels
Experience managing fixed-price projects and project financials
Ability to coordinate work across distributed teams and communicate delivery status and decisions clearly
Sound understanding of software development life cycles and the technical context of the projects you manage
Independent, proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Advanced English for regular communication with a UK-based client

NICE TO HAVE

Experience working in a SAFe environment or coordinating delivery across multiple projects within a programme
Experience managing fixed-price projects and project financials
Familiarity with PMBOK and Earned Value Management

RESPONSIBILITIES

Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
Develop full-scale project plans and track project tasks/milestones using appropriate tools
Effectively analyze and report on project status
Monitor project budgets (where applicable), ensuring efficient use of the investment
Confidently remediate at risk or underperforming projects in collaboration with project teams
Define project success criteria and communicate success criteria throughout the project life cycle
Conduct lessons learned and produce recommendations for future projects
Set and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
Identify and resolve conflicts within a project team
Motivate project resources and empower them to take accountability for their assigned tasks
