ELEKS Software Engineering & Development Office is looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong OpenShift experience in Argentina

ABOUT PROJECT

We are looking for a Java Developer with strong OpenShift skills to join a healthcare product team working on API modernization and integration initiatives for a large U.S. healthcare organization.

In this role, you will support the development, deployment, and maintenance of Java-based APIs running in OpenShift environments, collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, and contribute to production-ready solutions in a complex enterprise ecosystem.

REQUIREMENTS

Strong Java development experience (Java 8–17)
Hands-on experience with OpenShift / OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring Cloud, and Spring Data
Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment
Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ
Experience working with SQL databases
Ability to work independently in production and support environments

NICE TO HAVE

Exposure to MuleSoft and enterprise integration platforms
Experience supporting API migration and integration initiatives within enterprise environments

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support development activities related to enterprise Java APIs and integration services
Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot applications in OpenShift environments
Collaborate with developers, platform engineers, and business stakeholders to support delivery timelines
Participate in API modernization and migration initiatives across cloud platforms
Troubleshoot production issues and provide application support in enterprise environments
Contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of Java-based microservices and APIs
Support CI/CD processes and application deployment activities
Ensure reliability, performance, and operational readiness of applications running in production
Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical discussions with distributed teams
