ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Middle/Senior Python Developer in Poland or Croatia.

ABOUT PROJECT

We’re developing a cloud-based platform for the biopharma industry that enables users to simulate and interact with digital twins of manufacturing processes.

REQUIREMENTS

At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Python
Solid understanding of SQLAlchemy or similar ORM tools
Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs (FastAPI is a plus)
Proven experience working with Azure cloud services
Familiarity with Docker and containerized development workflows
Good understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
Proficient in using Git and working with CI/CD pipelines
Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team
English: Upper-Intermediate

NICE TO HAVE

Knowledge of data analysis libraries like Pandas
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, or infrastructure-as-code tools like OpenTofu (Terraform)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain backend services using Python, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy
Design and implement secure, scalable REST APIs
Collaborate with frontend engineers (Angular) and DevOps (Azure-based infrastructure)
Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making
Review code, support documentation, and mentor less experienced developers
Proactively suggest and implement improvements to existing logic and structure
Participate in integration with data workflows and cloud-native components
