Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer / L2 Support Engineer in Argentina and Europe

ELEKS Customer Support Office is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer / L2 Support Engineer in Argentina and Europe.

ABOUT PROJECT

Our customer is a well-known investment consulting company from the USA that has been providing their services since 1974. We are looking for a person who can do in-place upgrades of Windows Server 2012 to 2019/2025 and communicate/collaborate with the team to upgrade these systems.

REQUIREMENTS

7+ years’ experience in server administration
Experience with Windows Server 2012 to 2019/2025 administration
Experience with SCCM
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft products including Office 365
Knowledge of Linux administration will be a plus
Practical skills in different OS and software configurations and support will be a plus
Knowledge of Active Directory and domain environments
Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation
Experience with application compatibility testing
Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP networking fundamentals
Experience with VMware, Azure and certificate management (PKI)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and customers
Ability to effectively explain technical aspects to the staff
Upper-intermediate level of English

RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing in-place upgrades of Windows Server
Communicating and collaborating with the team to upgrade these systems
Ensuring service levels are maintained and tickets are tracked and resolved on time
Taking ownership of escalated tickets and resolving them successfully
Supporting spillover calls from the first-level queue when the call threshold has been surpassed
Handling the weekly rotation of our Knowledge Base article maintenance
Take ownership to resolve customer requests in accordance with SLAs and incident management protocols
