ELEKS is looking for a Sales Manager experienced in the promotion of Software Development Services and Products to join our growing ELEKS Japan JV team in Tokyo.

Japan is a relatively new market for ELEKS so it is a great opportunity to contribute to our success in improving the ELEKS brand recognition on the Japanese market, establishing new connections and growing the client base. We are looking for a self-motivated expert in communications, sales and marketing who is able to both establish an efficient lead generation and process those leads as well.

You will cooperate closely with the rest of the Japanese and Global teams and be working in a dynamic, supportive, friendly environment where your capabilities and input really matter.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales related to software development services or products
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and IT project delivery approaches
  • Understanding and hands-on experience in the lead-generation process
  • Knowledge of the Japanese market for software development services
  • Proficiency level in English (writing/speaking)
  • Proficiency level in Japanese (writing/speaking)

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Introduce ELEKS to new potential clients, who are interested in software development services or products
  • Generating new leads for the ELEKS software development services and products
  • Preparing the marketing materials for the client meetings and leading/coordinating the pre-sale activities
  • Ability to capture the client needs during the initial meetings, match them with ELEKS software development services and keep the client involved throughout the sales process
  • Support the presentation and up sales of ELEKS software development services and products during the pre-sales
  • Providing feedback for security services with the aim of customizing them for Japanese market and the expectations of local clients
  • Actively participate in the development and execution of ELEKS marketing campaigns
  • Support the selection, planning, organization and participation in sales events organized by ELEKS or 3rd parties (workshops, exhibitions, meet-ups)
  • Mobilize the presales team, finding the optimal approach to the potential project proposition, consulting, discovery, formal proposal, etc., and the business model, which includes fixed price, dedicated team, T&M, etc
  • Be able to address any RFI/RFP questions the client shares within the vendor selection process. Be aware of ELEKS’ financial information, legal entities, and information that can or cannot be disclosed to the client
  • Lead the presales team and prepare/facilitate the preparation of high-quality proposals based on client needs/company capabilities, providing a response to RFP addressing vendor selection criteria set by the client
  • Work closely with and SDR, lead them and help to set up and process outbound campaigns
