ELEKS Sales (EU, DACH and NORDICS) is looking for a Business Development Manager in Germany.
ABOUT PROJECT
As part of the ELEKS North-West European Business Unit, you will be instrumental in driving B2B business growth by identifying, qualifying, and converting leads into commercial opportunities. You’ll manage the top of the sales funnel, design and execute customer outreach strategies, and ensure a smooth transition to delivery teams. This role also includes developing strategic partnerships and representing ELEKS within relevant industry ecosystems.
REQUIREMENTS
- Deep knowledge and experience working in IT Services, IT Consulting, or IT Product sectors
- Experience in outbound B2B sales strategies (3+ years)
- Proven success in lead generation, qualification, and conversion
- Experience conducting face-to-face meetings with C-level executives
- Strong understanding of modern B2B sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger Sale, Miller Heiman)
- Ability to identify client needs and match them with relevant IT solutions
- Proficient in CRM tools and interpreting sales performance data
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trends
- Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, and business management principles
- Consultative Selling, Solution Selling, or Value-based Selling techniques
- English: Advanced/native (excellent oral and written communication skills)
- German: Advanced/native (both oral and written)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and segment the European market to build and verify targeted customer lists, based on industry, business needs, budget, timelines, and buying authority
- Develop personalized engagement strategies per customer segment, reflecting ELEKS’s value propositions across service lines and company offerings
- Proactively reach out to potential clients and respond to inbound interest via email, phone, LinkedIn, virtual meetings, and networking platforms
- Identify and develop relationships with strategic partners, alliances, and industry associations to enhance ELEKS’s presence across key European markets
- Represent ELEKS at relevant industry events, supporting brand visibility and lead-generation activities
- Gather and structure feedback from leads and early-stage prospects to support Marketing, Product, and Service teams in refining solutions
- Provide consolidated customer insights to help align ELEKS’s Sales packages with market needs
- Collaborate on RFIs and presales inputs to ensure alignment between client expectations and ELEKS’s offerings
- Maintain full visibility of sales activity in the CRM, analyze performance data, and report actionable insights to internal stakeholders
