ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Senior Full-Stack (Node.js and React) Developer in Poland or Croatia.

ABOUT PROJECT

Our customer is a global leader in life sciences, partnering with pharma, biotech, and public sector organizations to drive innovation in healthcare. The project focuses on developing modern, cloud-native web systems that accelerate the discovery of new therapies.

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
Proven hands-on experience with Node.js and React in building production-grade applications
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS (experience with SCSS/LESS is a plus)
Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs; GraphQL experience is a plus
Familiarity with cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Solid understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles, and security best practices
Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis
Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, OpenTelemetry) – nice to have
Familiarity with AI/ML tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, OpenAI API) would be a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset
Upper-intermediate or higher level of English
Willingness to travel occasionally to Ireland

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js and React
Implement clean, efficient, and well-structured code following best engineering practices
Contribute to the architecture and design of new features and solutions
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and data services to support product functionality
Ensure code quality, performance, and security through regular reviews and testing
Debug and resolve issues, optimizing applications for speed and reliability
Collaborate closely with other engineers, QA, and product teams throughout the SDLC
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and help maintain high technical standards
Contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes
Estimate tasks, meet agreed deadlines, and communicate progress with the team
Take ownership of assigned features – from design to deployment
