ABOUT PROJECT

REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Developer
- Proven expertise in SQL Server development, including advanced T-SQL, table design and creation, stored procedures, triggers, and overall database architecture
- Extensive experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) — capable of developing new packages, modifying existing ones, and debugging issues across both package and project deployment models
- Solid understanding of performance tuning techniques to optimize query execution and system responsiveness.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in diagnosing and resolving database-related issues
- Working knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime
- Clear understanding of authentication mechanisms, including SQL Authentication vs. Windows Authentication and integration with Active Directory
- Practical knowledge of SQL Server directory setup, including recommendations for drive sizing and configuration best practices
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages — including support for over 100 existing packages, troubleshooting complex workflows, and ensuring smooth deployment across both package and project models
- Write and optimize advanced T-SQL queries — including table design, stored procedures, and triggers, while working with massive datasets (millions of rows) to ensure high performance and scalability
- Diagnose and resolve database-related issues independently, applying strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking to deliver timely solutions without relying on others to define the problem
- Manage and configure SQL Server infrastructure — including performing version upgrades, setting up authentication models (SQL and Windows), integrating with Active Directory, and optimizing server directory structures with informed recommendations on drive allocation and performance
- Collaborate effectively across teams, demonstrating strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work autonomously with quick turnaround in a high-demand environment
