ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Senior Data Engineer in Argentina or Poland.

ABOUT PROJECT

Our client is one of the world’s leading insurance brokers. As part of an international engineering team, you will contribute to the development of a modern analytics platform that aggregates data from multiple external providers and delivers insights to support business decision-making in the insurance and reinsurance domain.

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Databricks
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory
Experience working with Azure Data Platform
Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and Lakehouse solutions
Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Strong SQL knowledge is a plus
Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English

RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the technical direction of the platform’s data engineering solutions and architecture
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks
Collaborate with Backend engineers to design data models and integration solutions
Analyze requirements, review technical designs, and contribute to solution estimations
Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of data solutions
Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices across the team
