ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Tech Lead Python Developer in Ukraine (Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil) or Poland.

Our customer is revolutionizing how advisors and investors approach risk‑managed, outcome‑focused investing. They provide digital access to structured products, buffered ETFs, annuities, and institutional‑grade tools such as hedging and lending.

Founded in 2015, the company focuses on making sophisticated financial instruments more accessible through an intuitive, tech‑driven platform.

REQUIREMENTS

5–6 years of experience with Python
1–2 years of technical leadership experience
Experience with Python (OOP), Flask, SQLAlchemy, Jinja2
Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes)
Experience working with CI/CD, GitLab, and Agile methodologies
SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis)
Experience with AWS, Git, Bash
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Fluent English for direct communication with client

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and maintain reliable software in line with technical requirements, focusing on performance and availability
Technical leadership of a team of at least 3 developers
Analyze requirements, review designs, and estimate user stories following project methodology (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
Proactively propose code refactoring and optimization improvements according to the best software development practices and coding standards
Help maintain and improve high-quality standards within the developer community by sharing knowledge, conducting tech talks, and participating in the internal promotion verification process
Stay up-to-date with modern technology and obtain professional certifications
Support less experienced developers by providing training, distributing, and monitoring tasks
