Senior SAP Consultant

ELEKS Enterprise Applications Practice Office is looking for a Senior SAP Consultant to join our team, either in our offices in Ukraine, Poland, Croatia, or remotely from other European countries.

We are seeking a seasoned Senior SAP Consultant (main focus on PP(!), PM, MM) with experience in the production, chemical industry, manufacturing, and logistics sectors. Our customer is a global manufacturer of ink used for can bottles. They operate a warehouse for storing raw materials and finished products, as well as production facilities in the UK, where we will be collaborating with their team.

REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ years of experience in SAP
• Experience with PP, PM, and MM modules
• 5+ years’ experience within the functional area
• Experience with full-cycle project implementations
• Experience with S/4HANA and SAP ECC
• Experience with ABAP reading/functional specifications drafting
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Planning and organizational skills
• At least an Upper-Intermediate+ level of English
• Readiness to travel for business in the UK

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Determine business needs via consultation, business analysis, and targeted observations
• Assess customer’s current systems, business processes and existing infrastructure to recommend improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to optimize performance
• Provide SAP system support and end-user training
• Perform rigorous documentation of SAP processes and presenting progress reports
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, local accounting and governmental standards
• Keep up to date of the latest SAP offerings, updates, and developments
• Develop functional specification for ABAP developers
• Provide SAP consulting within the primary functional area, including product demonstrations, analysis, implementation and training of end users
• Assist SAP Manager and SAP Architect users with day-to-day questions, problems, and issues
• Adheres to project plans, tasks, and deliverables; identifies dependencies and resource requirements
• Appropriately communicates project status, escalates issues, and manages timelines and action items
• Collaborate with internal development team to deliver business value
