ELEKS is looking for a Software Architect to work on-site in Quito, Ecuador.

ABOUT PROJECT

The project focuses on building and evolving a large-scale public financial platform in Latin America, with high requirements for security, scalability, and reliability. The solution is developed in close collaboration with international partners and is funded by a global financial organization. The technical implementation is based on the Microsoft ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on enterprise-grade cybersecurity and long-term support.

REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory certification: Microsoft DP-203 or AZ-305 (KY-3 level)
Senior-level experience with Microsoft enterprise stack
Strong hands-on experience with C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core) in enterprise environments
Practical experience with the following technology stack:
Backend: C# / ASP.NET Core
Frontend: Modern JavaScript / TypeScript
Database: SQL Server (T-SQL)
Cloud / Infrastructure: Azure-native services
DevOps & Security: Microsoft-aligned CI/CD and SecDevOps tooling
Proven experience in Microsoft enterprise security, including:
Encryption and data protection (at rest and in transit)
Secure communications and Zero Trust architecture
Identity and access management in Microsoft ecosystems
Experience integrating security controls into application design and CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
Strong understanding of secure-by-design and enterprise-grade application architecture
Spanish: B2+/C1 and English: C1

RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to the delivery of an enterprise-scale Microsoft-based platform with security embedded by design
Develop and maintain backend solutions using C# / ASP.NET Core
Ensure proper implementation of encryption, data protection, and secure communications
Apply Zero Trust and Microsoft-native security patterns across services and environments
Integrate security practices into development pipelines and operational workflows (DevSecOps)
Support enterprise-grade scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability of the solution
Ensure compliance with project governance, regulatory constraints, and documentation standards
Collaborate closely with technical, security, and delivery teams within a regulated project environment
