Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Engineer

ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Engineer in Argentina

ABOUT PROJECT

We are expanding the engineering team for one of the largest U.S. health and insurance enterprises.  The team is responsible for modernizing and maintaining mission-critical digital experiences used by millions of customers across public websites, member portals, broker portals, and enterprise content platforms.
You will work on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) based solutions, contributing to scalable, secure, and high-performance content delivery across a large enterprise ecosystem.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of professional experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x or AEM Cloud Service)
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Apache Sling, OSGi, HTL/Sightly, Maven
  • Solid understanding of JCR repository structure
  • Experience configuring AEM Dispatcher and caching strategies
  • Understanding of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Experience integrating AEM with REST APIs (JSON/XML)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Adobe Cloud Manager)
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
  • Upper-Intermediate English level or higher

NICE TO HAVE

  • Adobe certification: ACE or ACP
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products
    (Analytics, Target, Campaign, Launch/Tags)
  • Knowledge of headless CMS, AEM Content Fragments, and hybrid delivery models
  • Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and performance optimization for enterprise web platforms
  • Experience working in large corporate environments (finance, healthcare, insurance)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, OSGi services, and workflows
  • Build scalable, reusable modules aligned with enterprise architecture standards
  • Configure and maintain AEM Sites and Assets, ensuring stability and performance
  • Integrate AEM with third-party enterprise systems
    (CRM, marketing automation, analytics, customer portals)
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI, backend teams, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders
  • Support content authors with component usage and best practices
  • Participate in architecture discussions, estimations, and code reviews
  • Troubleshoot AEM platform issues and optimize performance for high-traffic environments
  • Ensure high code quality through unit testing and adherence to AEM development standards
