ELEKS is looking for a Senior Data Scientist at Montreal, Canada, to join our growing Data & Analytics team. You’ll become a part of the team of professionals of leading global clients in finance, healthcare, and beyond.

Salary range – $80 000-143 000

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of practical experience as a Data Science Engineer
Strong hands-on knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangFlow, RAG pipelines.
Deep understanding of conversational AI principles, including dialog management, fine-tuning, and model evaluation
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

RESPOSEBILITIES

Perform rapidly prototype and iterate on machine learning models
Work with supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning
Work with domain specific modelling challenges (e.g., LLMs, computer vision, time series)
Fine-tuning LLM models
Work closely with cross-functional colleagues
Monitor and analyze the performance of models in production, and propose and implement improvements
