Middle Strong Test Engineer

ELEKS Quality Assurance Office is looking for Middle Strong Test Engineer in our Lviv, Kyiv, Ternopil or Ivano-Frankivsk Office.

ABOUT PROJECT

The project is a portal that provides its users with all relevant European gas market data such as gas flows, hub and transport prices, or maintenance schedules, in one convenient place, making the gas market easy to understand. Customers can access the service using a web browser or an API. The service will be later on also through a smartphone app available (on iOS and Android). Our tool helps gas traders and shippers do their job more efficiently by helping them identify trading opportunities and enabling them to react more swiftly.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3+ years of professional experience
• Experience with web testing
• Good interpersonal skills for constructive communication on defects, progress, and risks
• Attentiveness to details, ability to detect and anticipate software defects
• Result-oriented vision
• Upper-Intermediate level of English

WILL BE A PLUS

• Basic knowledge of writing testing scripts (basic automation)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and execute tests at all planned levels, log and evaluate results and document deviations from the expected results.
• Use tests administration, monitoring, and management tools.
• Participate in test environment setup.
• Prepare and acquire test data.
• Contribute to test documentation creation/validation/update process (test cases, test plan, etc.).
• Review, analyse and assess project requirements and specifications to convert them into quality control process artefacts.
• Review test artefacts developed by others.
• Communicate with other Team Members
• Report Test Progress to Stakeholders
