Middle Strong/ Senior Project Manager

ELEKS Project Management Office is looking for a Middle Strong/Senior Project Manager in Argentina.

Our customer is a technology software and consulting company headquartered in London, with offices in Paris, Brussels, and the USA. The company’s services are used by the largest insurance companies worldwide, which benefit from the market disruption and ground-breaking capabilities it gives them.
The project is a technology platform that helps non-life and life insurance companies across their modeling platforms, including capital, pricing, reserving, life cashflow modeling, economic evaluation, risk, and data cleaning.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3,5+ years of experience in project management
• Experience in managing mid-size and large projects (15+ team members)
• Proficient understanding and experience with Agile frameworks, Waterfall
• Familiar with the PMBOK guide
• Proven experience to manage distributed frontend, backend, QA, BA, Support, and DevOps distributed teams, established reliable collaboration and capacity management
• Strong understanding of SDLC
• People management, performance review, staffing
• Solid experience of using different planning\tracking (Atlassian stack) tools
• Perfect understanding of IT systems and project life-cycles
• Proven knowledge of project management principles
• Proven understanding of project financial aspects – profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and resources utilization
• Advanced English

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and manage project development from project initiation to closure within budget, schedule and resource limits
• Negotiate, define, communicate and manage the scope of the project
• Develop, maintain and effectively execute project plan throughout the project life. Ensure timely revision of project plan to meet changing needs and requirements
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones, review deliverables and milestones prepared by the team
• Forecast, track and manage project budgets, and ensure timely invoicing
• Define, communicate, implement and monitor quality standards on all project deliverables
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project
• Plan and manage internal and external project communications, ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverables
• Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks
• Serve as liaison between company and client for overall project and support activities. Develop lasting relationships with client’s representatives that foster trust and goodwill
• Identify project resources necessary and partner with other company managers to acquire resources
• Act as a mentor to Project Coordinators and other team members; inspire collaboration and teamwork
• Assists in the ongoing development of the Project Management Office. Recommend improvements to project management policies/procedures where needed
• Assist the PMO with performing project team assessments and evaluations
