Middle/Senior React Developer

ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Middle/Senior React Developer in Mexico

Our customer is among the top-5 health insurance companies in the US. The company serves more than 15 million members across five states and employs more than 20,000 people.

The customer is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, cost-effective health care and equipping their members with information and tools so they can make the best health care decisions for themselves and their families. We are helping to achieve our customer’s goals via developing and supporting the IT tools. Numerous applications and APIs both for internal and external use.

Teams are using agile methodologies like scrum, kanban, XP. The majority follow TDD and pair programming. The typical team consists of 6-8 developers and a product manager who is responsible for the user stories and communication

We are looking for experienced software engineers to work with the back end (java), front end (react), and mobile teams.

The exact responsibilities also vary depending on the project. Most of the time you will be working on implementing new functionality or different integrations and\or deployments.

Technologies slightly vary depending on the team.

You will be working on a number of android native applications for health insurance. The applications provide full details on member’s health insurance like find care, history of claims, prescriptions etc. The applications are published on the play market and used by millions of people across the US.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 4-5+ years of experience in JavaScript
• Solid Experience with React, Redux or MobX, TypeScript, CSS
• Experience with Java will be a plus
• Fluent English

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop Web site maps, application models, image templates, or page templates that meet project goals, user needs, or industry standards
• Develop and document style guidelines for Web site content
• Identify or maintain links to and from other Web sites and check links to ensure proper functioning
• Establish appropriate server directory trees
• Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types
• Recommend and implement performance improvements
• Implement code refactoring and optimization methods. Post refactoring and optimization results to the collective knowledge base as the best practices
• Work in pair with other developers, communication with team members sharing thoughts and knowledge
• New functionality design. Estimating tasks
