ELEKS is looking for a Head of Cyber Security Practice in the UK, Poland, Germany, Estonia and Netherlands.


  • 5+ years of experience in the IT industry
  • 7+ years of experience in management or entrepreneurship
  • Understanding of business development, standard engagement, consulting, and project support processes and activities
  • Knowledge of standard size and effort estimation methods and practices
  • Fundamentals and techniques of personnel management; methods of management decision-making
  • Ability to quickly understand and interpret current regulatory and technical documents, standards, regulations, best practices, and internal regulations
  • Ability to understand business models, risks and translate them into solutions that support the business needs
  • Ability to critically and objectively review own and other’s design decisions and assumptions
  • Ability to estimate project sizes and efforts accurately enough and with sufficient precision
  • Usage of methods and techniques to manage risks, and evaluate complexity, the scope of work, and tasks deadlines
  • Usage of fundamental methods and techniques to manage personnel, as well as management decision-making methods

  • Identify and develop new strategic opportunities to diversify the client base and gain market share through cyber security services and products as well as partnership network, e.g. on security testing, security compliance and advisory, managed security services
  • Develop strong relationships with key customer contacts at all levels of the business to gain an understanding of key business drivers that influence purchasing decisions in the field of security services
  • Collect data, market feedback, and best practices – learn & develop a further strategy
  • Advise how best to deploy ELEKS’s resources for cyber security projects as well as apply ELEKS core services to the security industry
  • Mentor ELEKS teams to translate customers’ business needs into security strategies
  • Contribute information to sales strategies by evaluating current sales results for consulting services, identifying needs to be filled, monitoring competitive products, and analyzing and relaying customer reactions
  • Mentor contributors to the security-related projects – including members of the office, members of other functional areas, or external consultants
  • Support the Engagement team in pre-sales by providing domain expertise, vision, and estimates
  • Suggest and support marketing activities for the company’s consulting offering, representing the company’s consulting excellence including article publishing, participation in events, and presenting to the clients
  • Travel onsite when appropriate to supervise and perform client security services
  • Lead the implementation of necessary certifications and accreditations to further extend security services (i.e. CREST, CHECK, Cyber Essentials, PCI DSS …) both personal and company wise
  • Is responsible for the performance of the cyber security practice inside the portfolio
